I've had this conversation so many times and I know I'm jumping the gun a lot considering I've got into freemasonry at a fairly young age (28), so I've got plenty of time.  I'm quite determined to join KT but really I don't mean to rush it.

I guess I was on a bit of a high last night as becoming a master mason doesn't seem that far away.  The main reason I meantioned that I had narrowed the chapter lodges down to two was because of distance and the fact that most Chapter lodges in my area seem to meet on Mondays which is no good for me.  Plus i've met Bethren/Companions from those lodges and I'm not short of proposers or seconders and the same is true for KT

I gues I'll wait and see how things go in the craft before I really commit myself to any side degrees as it's been mentioned that I might be Junior Deacon next year since the Inner and Outer guards are happy to carry on doing their jobs and that would put me in line for JD.  I would be invested as JD in January next year and that seems to me a bit soon but if the Tyler and IG don't want to move up and it really doesn't look like it then I will have the chance to go straight to JD.
