Bob Cooper is i believe the curator of the masonic museum at GLoS.

This book deals with the hoax and myth of rosslynn chapel as well as the myth of the KT's landing in Scotland after there persecution in france.

Excellent read and really well researched. I know it opened my eyes, especially with the description of the Christian symbolism within the private chapel.

He blows away most of the rubbish which has been previously written and sticks to the facts rather than speculation. If you want your eyes opened it is well worth getting.

What i would like to know is why do they acknowledge that there are carvings of corn and potato on the walls of roslyn when columbus hadnt sailed  to discover the Americaneese peoples yet.

But more to the point is some sort of political correctness playing part in trying to wipe the records of the templars out in Scotland. I cant think on any reason for it.

If they didnt land here and couldnt at the time walk here but we do  know fact that  they were here could someone please explaine to me how they managed it. (merlin maybe):D

Imagine people who worked in secrecy at a time when they were being hunted by a the biggest most powerfull religion in the known world. would you want a fanfare and fires lit on top of every hill to announce you have arrived:D

It's a shame that we can't get into the old Forum cos I can remember a very nice explanation of this.

Not a touch of Lomas in sight, the appearance of "New World flora" in the Chapel before CC is simple to explain. It is all down to the fact that 400 years before Columbus was an itch in his daddy's pants, those erstwhile rulers of Scotland and the Northern Isles had already been there and started colonising.

The Vikings were the first known Europeans to travel to America (or Vineland as they named it, after the grapes they found there) via Greenland. Which believe it or not is actually quite a short passage compared to going across the middle like Columbus, the eedjet.

The carvings inside the collegiate church of Rosslyn are explained very easily. Although the church was completed before history recorded the finding of America, the inner carvings took many more years to complete, You can also see that the carvings are very ornate when started in the west and as the moved to the east of the church they are crude and rushed( i'm pretty sure that it was west to east but might be mistaken in this), this is also explained in that it was the son who had the curch completed but he didn't put as much care into the planning as his father had done.

What is good to do if you get the chance is walk through the Cryptic perambulations in Roslyn and see where you land at each stop  it is quite hard to do with the floor cluttered but it can be done,  I had  a PM from a lodge up north go through it with me  it is amazing.
